I compete on the track and field team. my event is the discus, which is a field event on the outdoor track team in
the spring. Freshman year was my first year trying it and it was difficult to
pick it up right away. I like the sport because you do not have to compete
against anyone you are just trying to compete with yourself and beat your own
personal record.
