Notre Dame Academy Ice Hockey
NDA Varsity Ice Hockey started in 2003 as a club team. In 2004, we were accepted as a Division II team in the Catholic Conference. In our first year varsity, we were 5-16-2. In 2005-2006, our second varsity season, we went 6-14. We also added a junior varsity team to the program. Last season, we finished 11-10 with our first ever appearance in the MIAA Division II State Tournament. We were seeded #14, but lost to the #3 seed Wilmington at the Ristuccia Center in Wilmington. This season we play St. Mary's of Lynn, Austin Prep, defending Division I Champions Arlington Catholic, Duxbury, and Hingham, all teams that were ranked in the Boston Globe Preseason Top 20.
